PARIS, June 17th - The International Energy Agency released its latest monthly oil report on the 17th, stating that since the outbreak of the war in the Middle East, the cumulative reduction in oil reserves of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development countries has reached 163 million barrels, reaching the lowest level since December 1990. The main reason for this is the accelerated release of emergency stocks.

The report indicates that since the outbreak of the war in the Middle East, the global observable oil inventory has decreased by an average of 3.8 million barrels per day, with a reduction of 143 million barrels in May.

报告说，美国与伊朗日前达成谅解备忘录，被视为缓和地区局势的重要进展，可能为霍尔木兹海峡重新开放以及美国解除对伊朗封锁创造条件。

The report states that the United States and Iran recently signed a memorandum of understanding, which is regarded as an important step in easing regional tensions and may create conditions for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and for the United States to lift its blockade on Iran.

报告指出，2026年全球石油供应量预计日均减少390万桶，降至日均1.024亿桶；2027年有望日均增加800万桶，升至日均1.103亿桶。不过，霍尔木兹海峡仍有一些问题尚未解决，运营和政治风险可能拖累供应恢复进程。

The report indicates that the global oil supply is expected to decrease by 3.9 million barrels per day on average in 2026, dropping to 102.4 million barrels per day; in 2027, it is expected to increase by 8 million barrels per day, rising to 110.3 million barrels per day. However, there are still some issues in the Strait of Hormuz that have not been resolved, and operational and political risks may slow down the process of supply recovery.
