A set of 5G intelligent control terminal system can enable unmanned coal mining operations underground. In the Laoshidan Coal Mine of Wuhai Energy Co., Ltd. of the National Energy Group, this system can obtain real-time information about the underground working environment, equipment operation parameters, and fault warnings, achieving 24-hour monitoring and early warning. Through intelligent upgrades, the mining and excavation efficiency of the mine has increased by 1.5 times, and the overall work efficiency of all employees has risen by 39.1%.

在最近国家能源局公布的煤矿智能化技术升级应用试点项目名单中，内蒙古23个项目入选，占全国试点总数近三成，数量居全国第一。

In the list of pilot projects for the upgrading and application of intelligent technologies in coal mines released by the National Energy Administration recently, 23 projects from Inner Mongolia were selected, accounting for nearly 30% of the total number of pilot projects across the country. The number ranks first in the country.

自治区能源局煤炭生产管理处 涵盖井工煤矿掘进系统、采煤系统、露天煤矿采剥系统、洗选系统、辅助及其它系统，产生了一批技术领先、安全可靠、可复制的智能化建设先进经验。

The Coal Production Management Department of the Autonomous Region Energy Bureau covers the excavation system, mining system, stripping system, washing system, auxiliary and other systems of underground coal mines, as well as open-pit coal mines. 目前，自治区已累计建成智能化煤矿230处，占在产煤矿数量的80%，智能化煤矿产能占在产煤矿产能的93%。
